One of the most challenging things to heal from is abuse against the feminine
Often it's domestic and someone you are in a relationship with
It's such a journey to understand and unravel from - as it often involves such complex situations
I can only speak from the perspective as a woman
People say why did you put up with it or why did you go back
It s that you want it all to go back to "normal" to come into some kind of familiar regulation for your nervous system to go back into the state it recognises as known
It's takes a multi faceted approach to unravel all the tendrils of this as its beliefs and stories you create to make this way of being acceptable
I was at a workshop once and the trauma from an injury I sustained literally re awakened and I was taken right back to fawn mode
I was frozen and could barely speak
The feelings and emotions of being in that situation flooded every part of me
Any one facilitating workshops or healing sessions must be aware of how the body will unravel trauma and how to safely allow this to express through the body mind and energy
And support must be given. Or you risk re traumatising which then adds another layer around it all
I know it as I ve experienced it for myself - if I shared the entire story it would be too much for this platform ...
And I know it by how I see it unravel with those who come for Feminine BodyWork
What's needed is deep trust in the one holding you through it and safe space and time enough to process
Empathy, compassion and the tools to guide you through
You can feel safe in your body again x and thrive xxx
